A watch should keep its time quietly. We keep our range small, our finishing slow, and our prices honest, so what you wear says exactly what it is.

From bench to wrist

Design

Every case starts as a sketch, and proportions are argued over before any metal is cut.

Machine

Cases and dials are milled to fine tolerances, then brushed and polished by hand.

Assemble

One watchmaker builds each watch from start to finish and regulates it in six positions.

Deliver

Boxed with papers and shipped worldwide, backed by a five-year guarantee.

Crafting

Six stages, one bench. Here is how a Fluxora goes from sketch to wrist.

316L steel

Cases are cut from 316L stainless steel, brushed on the flanks and polished where light should catch.

Sapphire crystal

Scratch-resistant sapphire covers the dial, with a second crystal on the open caseback.

Gold-toned rotor

A finished gold-toned rotor winds the movement and shows through the back of the watch.

Automatic movement

Caliber FX-A11. Twenty-five jewels, wound by every move of your wrist.

Inside the caliber

The rotor, mainspring barrel, gear train, balance wheel and escapement, laid out part by part on a plate and bridges.

Rotor

A gold-toned weight that swings with your wrist and winds the watch.

Mainspring barrel

Stores the energy the rotor collects and releases it steadily.

Gear train

Carries that energy to the hands at exactly the right speeds.

Balance wheel

Swings back and forth with its hairspring, setting the beat of the watch.

Escapement

Lets the energy out one small step at a time, which is the tick you hear.

Jewels and bridges

Synthetic jewels cut friction at the bearings, and bridges hold every wheel in place.

Watchmaker assembling the movement with tweezers

Built by hand

Each movement is assembled at the bench with tweezers and a loupe, part by part, in a fixed order.

History

A small workshop, a short list of references and a lot of patience. This is how Fluxora got here.

We never set out to be big. We set out to make a watch that keeps its time quietly, and looks calm while it does.

Keep it small

A short range means every reference gets our full attention, from the first sketch to the last test.

Finish it slowly

Brushing, polishing and fitting take the time they take. We have never rushed a watch out of the workshop.

Price it honestly

No inflated list prices and no invented discounts. The price on the page is the price of the watch.
